The Crew Club is a grassroots community led charity that provides a
safe space and opportunities for children, young people and their
families to take part in a wide range of activities in one of the most

Cassie has been volunteering at the Crew Club for over 10 years.

She attends weekly and hosts food and drink related activities with the young people, ensuring they learn some skills, try new things and ultimately get a meal or something nice to eat.

She funds this herself with Henry's support.

She has also developed her role as a fund raiser. Cassie and Henry are both trustees, Henry is now Chair.

The Crew Club is now working with the council, local GPs, and Brighton University to develop a five year plan for the Whitehawk area, to help improve health and education.

The club acts as a hub in this area, and is used by many people in the community.

It helps bring people together, and it offers many levels of support.

Choose To Move is a project led by The Crew Club in
partnership with Sport England to help and support people living in
